who forgives all [my] sins and heals all [my] diseases; who redeems [my] life from the pit and crowns [me] with love and compassion’ (Ps. 103:2–4). We see just how powerfully transforming the work of God is in a human life. Notice four aspects to this in the case of the crippled beggar: 1. He confessed the goodness of God from his heart. 2. He went joyously to worship the Lord. 3. He witnessed to the mercy of the Lord in public. 4. He had a new life to live—his life would never be the same again.
